Soft Pastel Pencils, 36-Count Metal Tin

Explore expressive color with this 36-count set of soft pastel colored pencils in a protective metal tin. Fine, powdery cores create a smooth, velvety finish for blending, layering, and color mixing with less loose dust than traditional pastel sticks. Sharpen the pencils for detailed lines, smudge them for soft transitions, or add water for delicate washes. The versatile palette works especially well for landscapes, wildlife, portraits, and mixed-media studies.
